Grilled Tri Tip
Ingredients
- Member's Mark™ Beef Sirloin Tri Tip Roast, 1 whole
- Member's Mark™ Canola Oil, 1/8 cup
- Member's Mark™ Minced Garlic, 2 tbs
- Member’s Mark™ Granulated Onion, 1 tbs
- Member’s Mark™ Parsley Flakes, 1 tbs
- Member’s Mark™ Oregano, 1 tbs
- Member's Mark™ Spanish Paprika, 1 tsp
- Member’s Mark™ Sea Salt, 1 tbs (or to taste)
- Member’s Mark™ Black Pepper, 1 tsp
- Dijon mustard, as needed
Directions
- Rub tri tip with Dijon mustard and allow to sit for 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, heat grill. If not using a grill with shelf, leave one side for indirect heat.
- In a bowl, mix remaining ingredients together.
- Completely rub the entire outside of tri tip with the oil-seasoning blend.
- Grill tri tip over direct heat for about 5 minutes each side.
- Move roast to indirect heat and allow to cook until desired internal temperature is reached (20-30 minutes).
- Remove from heat and allow to rest for 5 minutes before cutting.
* Note: Cut this into small cubes for a great option for taco meat or in your other favorite recipes.
