Grilled Tri Tip

Directions

  1. Rub tri tip with Dijon mustard and allow to sit for 30 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, heat grill. If not using a grill with shelf, leave one side for indirect heat.
  3. In a bowl, mix remaining ingredients together.
  4. Completely rub the entire outside of tri tip with the oil-seasoning blend.
  5. Grill tri tip over direct heat for about 5 minutes each side.
  6. Move roast to indirect heat and allow to cook until desired internal temperature is reached (20-30 minutes).
  7. Remove from heat and allow to rest for 5 minutes before cutting.

* Note: Cut this into small cubes for a great option for taco meat or in your other favorite recipes.
