The Spicy California Roll is a delicious sushi roll made with imitation crab that is 100% sustainably certified, made from wild caught Alaskan pollock. We add spicy sriracha sauce, creamy avocado and refreshing cucumber, all wrapped up in seasoned sushi rice and topped with roasted sesame seeds. The Spicy California Roll is pre-sliced and ready to enjoy as a meal or snack on the go, with or without utensils. The Spicy California Roll comes with naturally brewed soy sauce, all natural wasabi and fresh natural ginger to help refresh your palate in between bites.
How is Fresh Sushi Made?
The original sushi was created in Asia, and has been a classic Japanese food since the 8th century. It is made by taking small chunks of raw fish and other ingredients and wrapping them in seaweed and rice. The fish used in sushi needs to be sushi-grade, which means it meets high standards for fat content, freshness and taste. The fish is frozen to a temperature below -60° F to ensure it's sashimi grade.
