DIY
The ready-to-assemble DIY kit has everything you need, making it easy to install it yourself in as little as one weekend. The DIY kit comes with pre-cut wood materials, a complete floor system, a complete roof system, fasteners, a handle, and detailed instructions to build your shed. With pre-primed siding, all that's left to do after assembly is paint it and caulk the joints to waterproof it. When deciding where to put your shed, choose a spot on high ground where water won't pool and leave room on all sides for room to paint. The build site for your shed needs to be free from trees, shrubs, and level within 6 inches. Before purchasing a shed, check with your local municipality and/or homeowners association to determine what permits and permissions are required.
Professional Installation
A few days after purchase, Handy Home Products will reach out to you to schedule your installation. Lead times are 3-6 weeks, and the installation takes 6-10 hours. Have peace of mind knowing that the price includes delivery, professional installation, and a 10-year limited material warranty. Within 30 days of the installation, you will need to paint and caulk the shed to waterproof it.
When deciding where to put your shed, choose a spot on high ground where water won't pool and allow 3 ft. of clearance on all sides for room to paint. Before installation, the build site needs to be free from trees, shrubs, limbs, or other debris and level within 6 inches. Your installer will level up to 6 inches at no additional charge.
Additional charges will apply If your site is out of level by 6 inches but is under 18 inches. Additionally, you’ll need to provide access to electricity within 150 feet of the unit, as well as 3-foot minimum unobstructed access for installers to carry your materials to the building site. Before purchasing a shed, check with your local municipality and/or homeowners association to determine what permits and permissions are required.
